Sonic

Today, I paid my first visit to the new Sonic that just opened in our area. As far as I know, this is the only one in our area. It’s amazing the hype that this place has drawn. I’ve heard people talking about the opening of this place miles and miles from here.

So what was my impression? It was pretty good. It reminded me of the old A&W drive-ins that my parents used to take me to as a little kid in the Midwest. We ordered and paid from the comfort of our own car. The only thing missing was the frosted glass of root beer and the tray that used to hang from the driver’s window.

I enjoyed a corn dog and a banana milkshake. Overall, it was pretty good. My big surprise was the line of cars waiting to get into this place. If you live in the area, you should check it out at least once.
