Top 10 Commenters:

As promised at the beginning of the month, I have randomly chosen someone from the top 10 commenters to receive a copy of Renegade by Vince Antonucci.  Your chances of winning increased the more you commented and the higher you were on the list.  This winner of this book is…(drum roll)…Dan Erickson.  Congrats to Dan!

For the month of July, I’ll be giving away a copy of Kingdom Journeys: Rediscovering the Lost Spiritual Discipline by Seth Barnes.  Again, the more you comment the higher your chances of winning.

Thanks to each and everyone for reading and for commenting.  I’m looking forward to July with The Stretched Community!  The month of July will include a few guest bloggers to help fill in the gap while I’m on vacation, and it also marks the final lead up into our families trip to Guatemala in early August.  July should be a fun month!

How was your month?  If you’re a blogger share a link to your top post in the comments?  What was your favorite Stretched post this month?  How were you STRETCHED in June?

To be honest, my month sucked. My post this morning explains a bit of the why and I think you’ll see this stretched me as well.

The top post on my blog was http://www.jmlalonde.com/10-facts-you-should-know-about-modern-day-slavery/ which was about modern day slavery.

Sorry again about your loss. Hopefully, July will be a better month for you.

  • http://www.danerickson.net/ Dan Erickson

Thanks, Jon. I’ll send you contact info shortly. The book looks like a good one for me.

My month was slightly up. My new “Monday Morning Shorts” series seems to be drawing some new traffic. My top post this month was “The Seductive Power of Personal Productivity” @ http://www.danerickson.net/?p=8214. Interestingly, a close second was a creative post, a song, “Tonight, It’s Raining on the Moon” @ http://www.danerickson.net/?p=8905. This is interesting because my creative posts are usually far less successful than my more traditional blog post. This post was second for the month and had the most response on Facebook. I’ve also noted that my “poetry” category keeps crawling up the ranks. Overall my traffic is much higher than a year ago.

I really enjoyed Tonight, It’s Raining on the Moon!

My month was better than I’d thought it’d be since it’s summer. My top post was, http://tcavey.blogspot.com/2013/06/you-believe-what.html It talked about knowing the Word of God. We can’t just let others tell us what the Bible says, we must study the Word of God for ourselves. It’s vital that we know HIS Word.

    Have a blessed July!
