I’m back in Pennsylvania, and it’s time for the third installment of 3 Thumbs Up! Without further delay, here are my three thumbs up for this week:

Thumbs Up Number 1: Caine’s Arcade. I just learned about this today thanks to the wonderful blog world and tylerstanton.com, and I think if you watch this video all the way through you’ll agree that this deserves a huge thumbs up.

Thumbs Up Number 2: Life Of A Steward Podcast. By now, you know that I’m a huge podcast fan. A new podcast that has caught my attention and deserves a thumbs up is the Life Of A Steward Podcast. In each episode, Loren Pinilis shares insights into how to make the most of our time. So far, Loren has released six episodes. I’m looking forward to the next one already!

Thumbs Up Number 3: Big B. Big B is a blog written by my friend Brandon Gilliland. Brandon is a medical student with a heart for amplifying God’s kingdom. He has a huge heart for sharing and encouraging. He has recently written a couple of blog posts about blogging and quality content that have struck a chord with me. I’m excited to see how God will use Brandon and his Big B blog in the days, weeks, and years to come.

Thanks so much for the mention! I’m glad to know that my recent posts have inspired you. I think things are going to change in the blog world soon…in a good way…if quality content is released.

I am actually going to move forward with a self-hosted wordpress blog next month. I want to switch my current blog over, so I can have more custom options and such. I’m still trying to figure out how to do it right now. haha!

How much harder is it to manage compared to wordpress.com?

  Once you get set-up, self-hosting isn’t a lot harder to manage than a wordpress hosted blog. Actually, I enjoy the flexibility that self-hosting offers. I think you’ll like it. Keep up the great stuff!

    Yeah. I’m probably going to switch over in the next month. I will be getting twitter in 2 weeks, and I really want to take the site to a whole new level. With twitter, I believe that I can reach more people who would normally not come to the site. Once this happens, I need a site that can be customized.
    I’m thinking of going with the company NewBlogHosting for the hosting provider…
